Peanut Butter Fudge
Ingredients
- 3 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Instructions
Mix sugar and milk in saucepan: Stir well to mix and then constantly. Bring to almost softball stage on candy thermometer. Add peanut butter Stir until smooth and then constantly. Boil to exactly softball stage. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Beat for several minutes with an electric mixer until stiff and turn onto a buttered plate. Cool. Cut into desired squares. Keeps well in a lidded plastic container.
