Cornmeal Porridge
Ingredients
- Boil 1 pint of water in a pot with a pinch of salt, then add some
- bay leaf and whole cloves. Mix another 1 pint of water with 1/2
- cup of yellow cornmeal until a smooth mixture is achieved. Pour
- the smooth mixture into pot while stirring. After three minutes
- lower the fire and stir occasionally, adding a few drops of Vanilla
- for taste. Cover pot and leave for 10 - 15 minutes. Serve hot.
