Beer Brat Casserole

Ingredients
- 5 links beer bratwrust
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 medium size green pepper, diced
- 3 medium red potatoes, diced
- 1 can (24-ounces) pork and beans
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 2 tablespoon sweet basil
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 can beer
- 2 teaspoon jalapeno hot sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound pasta
- 2 cup rice
Instructions
- Cut bratwrust into 1/4-inch pieces. Fry with oil and garlic in large sauce pan.
- When meat is almost done add onions, green peppers, and potatoes. Cook at strong simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Add the can of pork and beans, cumin, basil, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Lightly simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Add beer, bring to a hard simmer, then lower heat to a simmer. Cover the pan and cook for another 10 minutes.
- It is your choice to use pasta or rice. Cook as per directions on package. Spoon pasta in soup bowl then cover with Bratwrust Delight.
