Ingredients
- 1 butternut squash, peeled, seeded, chunked
- 3 apples, cored, peeled, sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 cup apple juice
Instructions
- Combine squash and apples with lemon juice and cinnamon.
- Place squash-apple mixture in a one quart casserole and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Pour apple juice over mixture, and cover casserole. Refrigerate overnight.
- When ready to serve, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Bake for one hour, or until squash is tender.
