Creamy Scalloped Cabbage Bake
Some of the best casserole recipes are the easiest to make, and enjoy! Creamy Scalloped Cabbage Bake is made with a few ingredients that you probably have in your cabinets. Creamy, cheesy and delicious, the cabbage is layered so all of the ingredients blend together into one flavorful dish. Topped with bread crumbs and baked until it is golden brown, it is a wonder to look at and to eat.
Notes
Note: When I am in a hurry, I frequently just stir the drained cabbage into the white sauce; sprinkle cheese over, and stir until it melts; then I omit the crumbs; we eat this as a main dish, served with cornbread). Can also layer in cooked ground beef or chicken to make a hearty casserole dish.
