Hamburger Cheese Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion choped
- 2 cups noodles
- 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Put water on for noodles first so that that the noodles will be cooking at the same time as the meat is cooking. Leave noodles a little firm.

In a medium size pot fry chopped onion and hambuger meat untill cooked. Take off heat and add noodles, 2 cans of mushroom soup and frozen peas.

Stir, add salt and pepper to taste. Add one cup cheese and stir well.

Put into casserole dish and sprinkle remaining cheese over top. You can also add other vegetables like corn etc, you can also put bread crumbs on top.
- Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through.

This is a quick and easy casserole that the whole family will enjoy. For this recipe, I would use lean ground beef, and after browning it, I would drain it before adding the other ingredients. Since I like my pasta al dente, I will drain it before it is completely done. That way the pasta will have a good consistency in the casserole since it will continue to cook in the oven.
