Layered Beefy Cabbage Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground pork
- 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 cup rice, cooked
- 3 onions
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 cans (large) sauerkraut
- 1 can (46 oz) tomato juice
- 1 head cabbage
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- paprika, to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Boil or steam cabbage until soft.

Put meat into bowl, add cooked rice, salt, pepper, and paprika.

Chop onions into 3 Tablespoons oil and fry until soft. Mix into meat.

Roll meat mixture into cabbage leaves.

In bottom of greased casserole dish, alternate layers of sauerkraut, tomato juice and grated cheese.

Place cabbage rolls on top.

Continue alternating layers of sauerkraut, tomato juice and grated cheese until finished. Add paprika on top.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until done.
