Layered Toasty Cheese Bake
When you add cheese to your casserole recipes they are taken to the next level of pure deliciousness. Layered Toasty Cheese Bake is one of our family favorites that is loaded with ingredients everyone loves. Baked until it is a wonderful golden brown, its cheesy and bubbly surface will make your mouth water. It's everything you need all in one dish. Convenient and delicious, you don't want to pass on this one.

Ingredients
- 8 slices bread
- soft margarine, to taste
- 1/2 pound extra lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 2 tablespoon chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, about 4-ounces
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 3/4 cup 1% low-fat milk
- pepper to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Toast bread and butter both sides. Cook and stir meat, onions, celery, prepared mustard and 1/2 teaspoon salt until meat is brown and onion is tender.

Alternate layers of toast, meat mixture and cheese in a greased 9"x9" pan.
- Mix remaining ingredients and pour over layers in the pan. Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes.
