Southwestern Corn Casserole
Spice things up at the dinner table tonight! There are many creamy casserole recipes to pick from, but none quite as flavorful as this unique Southwestern Corn Casserole. Made with garlic powder and green chilies, this easy-to-make casserole has a bit of a kick to it that you're sure to enjoy.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups cream corn
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder or salt
- 1/3 teaspoon sugar
- 1 can (4-ounce) green chiles, chopped
- 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Mix eggs, cream corn, cornmeal, garlic powder or salt, sugar, chopped green chilies, and cheese into a large bowl.
- Pour into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
- Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F and bake an additional 30-45 minutes; casserole should be browned on top.
