Ingredients
- 4 pounds potatoes
- milk, to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoon minced onion
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Peel and quarter the potatoes and cook in water to cover until tender.
- Mash the potatoes with a little milk. Add sour cream, cream cheese, and butter.
- Place in a buttered casserole dish. Dot with shredded Cheddar or Colby cheese, if desired. Bake about 1 hour.
