Virginia Beach Chicken
If you're looking for easy chicken recipes with some serious flavor, then try your hand at this Virginia Beach Chicken. Thanks to the bacon, sour cream and mushroom soup, this chicken dish is impossible to resist.

Ingredients
- 8 whole chicken breasts
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 (8-ounce) jar dried chipped beef
- 1 cup dairy sour cream
- 1 can (10.5-ounce) golden mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/4 cup sherry (optional)
- 1 can (4-ounce) mushrooms, drained (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Wrap each chicken breast with a slice of bacon.

Pull apart chipped beef and place in bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Arrange chicken over top.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over all. Bake, uncovered in oven for 2 hours.
- Half the chicken breasts, if desired. Turn oven up the last 15 minutes if you desire more browning.

Not sure about the chipped beef. It is good, except I won't add that next time. The sauce could be used as a gravy to be served with mashed potatoes. I would actually serve the chicken breast with sauce over noodles instead. I think it would be good without bacon too.

I wonder if I could use the frozen boneless, skinless breasts and the microwave bacon since I always have both on hand. And as a footnote, seems kind of silly to require a rating. What if I haven't made it yet?
