Ingredients

  • 2 cup cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 2 cup brown rice
  • 6 cup water
  • 5 cubes of Chicken Bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon yellow curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large rice cooker, add rice, water, bouillon, curry, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

  2. In a sauté pan, heat oil and add chicken. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Remove from pan.

  3. Add chicken, carrots and onions to rice cooker. Stir and start rice cooker.

  4. My cooker took about an hour to cook. Season with more salt once dish is finished cooking.
