- 2 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoon (heaping) cocoa
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In large mixing bowl sift together dry ingredients.

Add wet ingredients. Mix until smooth (about 2 minutes).
- Pour into greased and floured pan (8" x 8", 9" x 9", or tube pan). Bake for 35-45 minutes. Use toothpick test.
