Moist Fudge Cake (old Recipe)
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup lard
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour milk or buttermilk
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
Cream lard, add eggs and cocoa. Sift together dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Add milk and water and mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
