Ingredients: 8 (1.5 oz.) chocolate bars; 1 large can chocolate syrup; 2 cup sugar; 2 sticks butter, softened; 5 medium eggs (or 4 large); 2 1/2 cup flour; 1/4 teaspoon soda; 1 cup buttermilk; 1 cup chopped nuts; 2 teaspoon vanilla; 3 T. strong coffee

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
5 medium eggs (or 4 large)
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped nuts
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 T. strong coffee

Instructions

Melt candy in double boiler. In separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Sift flour and soda together. Add, alternating with buttermilk, syrup and candy. Beat well. Add nuts, vanilla and coffee. Bake in greased tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 350.
