Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon water
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream butter and sugar together. Add vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts.
- Add water to make a workable dough. Pinch off small balls of dough and roll in palms of hand until crescent shaped.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten slightly with fingertips.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from cookie sheet and allow to cool.
- Roll in powdered sugar to coat cookies.
