Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cup sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, cream until fluffy.
- Add unbeaten egg and vanilla. Beat well.
- Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture.
- Divide dough and chill.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Roll dough into small balls.
- Place on an un-greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.
- Immediately roll in confectionery sugar when removed. Cool and roll again.
