Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine or butter, softened (2 sticks)
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups oats
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat in well.
- Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to butter mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in oats and raisins, mixing well again. Drop by rounded tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F.

My husband really likes these - they are chewy and not too sweet. The hint of cinnamon are a real bonus!
