Ingredients Needed Egg whites Maple sugar Cream of tartar Coarse sugar Maple Sugar: If you can’t find any maple sugar, you can mix 1 cup of regular granulated sugar with a tablespoon of maple syrup or maple extract. Cream of Tartar: If desired, you can replace this with an equal amount of lemon juice. Notes Bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour. Then, turn off the oven and let them sit in the oven for at least 1 hour…do not open oven! Check them after the hour to check their texture. If the tops are fully dried, remove them. If not, leave in for additional time. "
