Ingredients: 1 1/2 cup brown sugar; 1 cup shortening; 2 eggs, well beaten; 1/4 cup molasses; 2 Tbsp. sweetened condensed milk; 2 Tbsp. water; 1 1/4 cup mince meat; 3 cup flour; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 4 teaspoon baking powder; 2 cup rolled oats

Mincemeat Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 cup molasses
2 Tbsp. sweetened condensed milk
2 Tbsp. water
1 1/4 cup mince meat
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups rolled oats

Instructions

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, molasses, milk, water and mincemeat. Sift flour, measure and sift again with salt and baking powder; add rolled oats. Combine with first mixture; mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well oiled baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 F) 15-20 min. Makes 45 cookies.
