Nova Scotia Oat Cakes
Ingredients
- 3 c flour
- 3 c rolled oats
- 2 c sugar
- 2 ts salt
- 1 ts baking soda
- 2 c margarine
- 3/4 c cold water
Instructions
Yield: 6 Dozen. Mix dry ingredients. Cut in margarine with pastry blender. Moisten with enough water to make a stiff dough. Roll out dough 1/2" thick on floured surface. Cut into squares of desired size. Bake on cookie sheet in preheated 350 F. oven for 15 minutes.
