Spirit and Spice Pot Roast
This slow cooker pot roast recipe has spirit, spice, and everything nice. Spirit and Spice Pot Roast is cooked with red wine and various spices, resulting in one heck of a pot roast!

Ingredients
- 4 pound beef roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 packet of brown gravy mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
- chopped parsley to garnish
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place meat in slow cooker, along with the onion, gravy mix, water, ketchup, red wine, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and mixed herbs. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours, or until meat is tender.
- Garnish with parsley and salt and pepper to taste.
