Thick Chicken and Noodle Soup
My grandmother will be the first one to tell you...chicken soup does wonders for your health...and this Thick Chicken and Noodle Soup is all the medicine you'll need! This slow cooker chicken soup is thick and satisfying. Sounds good to me!

Ingredients
- 2 stalks celery, cut up
- 2 carrots, cut up
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 whole chicken, cut up if necessary
- 3 cup water
- 4 cup uncooked noodles
Instructions
- Place the celery, carrots, and onion on the bottom of your slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper, and basil. Place chicken on top of vegetables, put the chicken on top, followed by the seasonings.
- Cover with water and set on low to cook for 8 to 10 hours.
- Carefully remove chicken and put noodles in the broth, turning it up to high. Let the noodles cook for 45 minutes while you take the meat off the bones. Mix the meat in.
