Cayman Island Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire
  • 2 16 oz. cans tomato puree
  • 2 16 oz. cans kidney beans, drained
  • 2/3 cup catsup
  • 1 1/3 cup apple juice
  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

Brown ground beef and drain off the liquid. In slow cooker (slow cooker) combine all ingredients, and stir well. Cover. Cook on high for 3 1/2 hours. Remove bay leaf and serve. 10 servings.
