Chili Con Carne

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 8-oz cans tomato sauce
  • 2 16-oz cans kidney or pinto beans, drained

Instructions

In skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain. In slow-cooking pot, combine beef and onion, salt, chili powder, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and kidney or pinto beans. Cover and cook on High for 2 to 3 hours. Remove bay leaf.
