Classic Slow Cooked Beef Stew
Sometimes there's just nothing better than a big bowl of classic slow cooked beef stew. With this slow cooker beef stew recipe, you can have all the comfort without all the work. This recipe makes a lot of stew, so it's great for family gatherings.

Ingredients
- 4 pounds beef chuck or stew meat, cut into cubes
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 5 carrots, sliced
- 5 potatoes, diced
- 3 onions, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 tablespoon browning and seasoning sauce
Instructions
- Place the meat in the slow cooker. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt and pepper. Pour flour mixture over the meat. Stir the meat to thoroughly coat it with the flour.
- Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, bay leaves, paprika, carrots, potatoes, onions, celery, and browning sauce. Stir well and cover. Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
