    Meatballs in Gravy

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb. lean ground beef
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 lb. ground veal
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 pound lean ground pork
    • 1/4 pound bulk sausage
    • 1-1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tablespoons diced parsley flakes

    Instructions

    Mix thoroughly all ingredients. Shape into meatballs and brown in skillet or on broiler rack in 400 degree oven. Prepare Gravy in Crock-Pot. Add meatballs. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours (in High setting for 2 to 4 hours). 4 to 6 servings (about 2 quarts). GRAVY 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained 1/3 cup flour 1 cup sour cream 1 can (10-1/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup 1/4 cup dry sherry 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee Combine all ingredients in Crock-Pot; stir thoroughly.
