Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean boneless pork, cubed and browned
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 1 med. green pepper, cut in strips
- 2 (4oz) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 tbls soy sauce
- 1 (16oz) can chinese veggies
- 3 tbls cornstarch
- 3 tbls water
- Chow mein noodles or rice
Instructions
Combine all ingreds except last 4 in slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low for 8-10 hours (High for 4-5), stirring after veggies defrost. An hour before serving, turn to High and stir in chinese veggies. Combine cornstarch and water and add to slow cooker. Cover and continue cooking til thickened. Serve over chow mein noodles or rice. MAKES about 2 qts. -- 4-6 servings
