    Bake all the taco flavors you love into a super easy cheesy casserole! This Taco Bake is a slow cooker casserole recipe the whole family will love. Filled with ground beef, onion, tomatoes, and green chiles, it's a fiesta of flavors that come together perfectly.     Ingredients

    • 1 pound groud beef
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1 1 1/4 ounce packet taco seasoning
    • 1 (16-ounce) can tomato sauce or salsa
    • 1 (8-ounce) box Ziti pasta, uncooked
    • 1 (8-ounce) can mild chopped green chiles
    • 2 cups mild shredded cheddar cheese

    Instructions

    1. In a skillet, brown ground beef and saute onion together, drain fat. Add the water, taco seasoning and tomato sauce and stir to mix. Simmer for 20 minutes.
       
    2. Transfer the meat mixture to a slow cooker. Stir in macaroni and chopped green chiles. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, top with shredded cheddar cheese.
