    Amaretto eggnog Bread Pudding

    Ingredients

    • 2 loaves egg bread (challah)
    • 3 eggs
    • 1c.sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 c. Amaretto
    • 1 qt eggnog
    • 2 Tsp cinnamon
    • 1c. raisins (opt)

    Instructions

    Tear up the bread into chunks. Beat eggs into eggnog, add amaretto and vanilla. Pour over bread and mix with hands until product has a texture like very wet, soft stuffing, adding more Amaretto, if needed, to achieve proper texture. It will set up as it bakes. Add raisins or nuts or whatever you think you might like, and bake it at 350 for about 45 minutes, uncovered. Serve warm or cold.
