Ingredients

  • 2 l (1.76 quarts) buttermilk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • seeds of a vanilla bean

Instructions

Whip egg yolks and sugar until the color changes. Add milk, lemon slices and vanilla. Chill for several hours before serving.
