    Peach Clafouties Dessert

    Ingredients

    • 29 ounces can peach halves cut in half and drained
    • 1/4 cup sugar divided
    • 1/4 cup peach brandy
    • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • dash salt
    • 1 1/2 cup milk or half and half
    • 1 tsp vanilla

    Instructions

    Arrange peaches cut side down in a greased 8 x 12 baking pan. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. sugar and the brandy. Dot with the butter. Beat eggs with remaining sugar, flour, salt and vanilla to make a batter. Pour evenly over the peaches. Bake uncovered in a preheated 350F oven about 30 to 35 minutes or until puffed and browned. Serve warm, right from the dish. A scoop of ice cream or whipped cream is a nice accompaniment. Serves about 8.
