Poor Knight's Dessert

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 6 slices stale white bread
- 1/3 cup dry white bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoon margarine
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla and lemon rind.

Dip the bread slices first in the egg mixture and then in the bread crumbs.
