Clam Dip
Ingredients
- 2 6-1/2-oz. cans minced clams
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. minced shallots
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- dash of cayenne pepper
- dash of salt
- dash of freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Serve with chips, crackers and/or crudites. Drain minced clams, reserving the liquid. Combine 3 Tbsp. of clam liquid, cream cheese, sour cream, shallots, parsley, lemon juice, Worcestershire, Tabasco, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper in a food processor until mixture is well combined. Transfer mixture to a medium bowl and stir in minced clams. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve cold. Garnish with minced parsley, if desired.
