Crowd Favorite Layered Taco Dip

Taco dip always seems to be the number one hit at every party or potluck. This recipe for Crowd Favorite Layered Taco Dip is more mild than some other recipes, so if you're sensitive to spicy food, this one will be perfect for you! This crowd-pleasing taco dip with cream cheese, ground beef, and more is super easy to make. All the layers of meat, beans, cream cheese, and fresh taco toppings make a perfect dip for tortilla chips.
Notes
If desired, put the finished dip in the microwave for several minutes just to melt cheese on top.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 small jar mild salsa
- 1 (8-ounce) container cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
- 1/2 small purple onion, chopped fine
- 2 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 cup (or more if desired) shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 1 can sliced black olives
Instructions

Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain and add taco seasoning according to directions on package. Set aside.

In small bowl combine cream cheese and sour cream. Beat until smooth. Set aside.

In 9x13" dish spread cream cheese mixture in bottom of dish.

Next, layer in order taco meat, refried beans, salsa, lettuce, onion and black olives.
- Top with shredded cheese (as much as desired). Best served room temp with tortilla or pita chips.
