Breakfast Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 peeled small to medium banana
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup yoghurt
- splash vanilla
- few shakes cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp instant coffee
- 3 ice cubes
- 2 pitted dates, or honey to taste
Instructions
Combine in blender. If using honey, drizzle in with blender running so it doesn't settle on the bottom. To make a thicker shake, freeze the banana in chunks, and use that instead of the ice cubes. A riper banana will give a more liquid shake with a more pronounced banana flavor. If you use banana that is yellow with green ends you will get a thicker shake where the coffee flavor predominates.
