Creme de Menthe
Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 8 cups sugar
- 3 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp green food coloring
- 1 Tbsp essence of peppermint, also known as peppermint spirits
- 1 pint 190 proof clear alcohol (150 proof will do)
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a 1 gallon glass jar. Secure lid tightly. Place in dark, cool place and allow to age for at least three weeks.
