Sweet Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 tea bags
  • 1 qt. water
  • ice

Instructions

Take the first quart of water and put it in a pot, bring to rolling boil. Add sugar and tea bags. Allow to cool completely. Dilute as much as you desire with additional water. Serve over ice, with or without lemon. Enjoy. In North Carolina you always have to request your tea unsweetened in a restaurant, otherwise it will almost always be sweet tea.
