"A popular Middle Eastern savory meat dumpling, served in a yogurt sauce. Shish barak dumplings are typically filled with beef or ground lamb. These delicious dumplings are a labor of love! While they are often described as a Lebanese dumpling, the exact origins are actually unknown (as is the case with many traditional recipes of this region). It is more commonly prepared in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordan, and as such is considered a Levantine dish."
