Grilled Citrus Salmon

Depending on how long you would like to marinate the salmon, this recipe could take as little as one hour to complete. It's a great summer recipe for the family that will not disappoint. Ingredients

  • 6 (1-ounce) salmon filets
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 teaspoon parsley
  • lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, orange zest, minced garlic, and onion.

  2. Coat salmon filets with citrus mixture and allow to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes.

  3. Over medium heat, grill salmon filets skin-side down for 15-20 minutes or until flakey. Every 5 minutes, baste salmon with remaining citrus mixture.

  4. When done, allow salmon to cool & serve garnished with lemon slices and parsley.
