Single serve coffee makers come in handy when you just want one cup of coffee. The Single Cup Coffee company offers a variety of coffee flavors. I had the pleasure of reviewing the line of Guy Fieri Flavortown Roasts, which includes eight varieties: Guy's American Diner Blend, Redwood Roast, Unleaded Decaf, Bananas Foster, Caramel Apple Bread Pudding, Chocolate Mint, Hazelnut Cinnamon Roll, and Hot Fudge Brownie.
Personally, I like different flavors of coffee, so I was thrilled to try these exciting flavored coffees. I love anything banana-flavored, so Bananas Foster was the first one I tried. When my cup finished brewing, I could smell and taste a hint of banana. The flavor wasn't too strong, but it was present enough to differentiate it from black coffee.
As a fan of chocolate and mint, I was also looking forward to trying the Chocolate Mint coffee. I could smell a hint of mint while the coffee was brewing, which is always a good sign. I recommend adding mint creamer to enhance the flavor even more.
I expected the Caramel Apple Bread Pudding coffee to have an overwhelmingly sweet flavor, but was pleasantly surprised that it simply added a light, sugary touch that complemented the natural bitterness of the coffee grinds. For anyone with even the slightest sweet tooth, this coffee would be the perfect addition to their morning routine! It would also pair nicely with dessert, so I could imagine serving it to guests after dinner.
Besides the flavorful coffees, this pack also includes "regular" blends, as well as a decaffeinated option. One of our editors thought the decaf coffee didn't need any sweetener or creamer. It was smooth and bold, but not bitter.
The Guy Fieri line of Single Cup Coffee includes great coffee flavors that will kick start your morning, pick you up in the afternoon, and get your weekend started off right.
