Tangerine Sorbet
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup freshly squeezed tangerine juice
- juice of half a lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
- grated peel of 1 1/2 tangerines (about 1 teaspoon)
- 1/4 cup Grand Marnier or other orange or tangerine liqueur
- 1 cup muscat wine
Instructions
Put the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a slow boil, stirring frequently. Combine the syrup with all other ingredients in a bowl, and stir thoroughly. Finish in an ice cream maker.
