Airy Apple Fritters
These airy apple fritters deliver a little bit of spice and a little bit of sweet. The unique seasonings and addition of beer make this fritter batter unique. Try these at your next dinner party or gathering.
Ingredients
- 4 apples, peeled and cored
- small amount of flour
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- 3/4 cup beer
- oil for deep frying
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cinnamon
Instructions
- Slice apples into 1/2" wedges or into 1/4" rings. Coat lightly with flour.
- In a bowl combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Add beer and beat till smooth. Dip apples in batter coating well, and fry in 375 degree F oil until golden (approx. one minute per side).
- Drain, roll in sugar and cinnamon serve hot.
