    Airy Apple Fritters

    These airy apple fritters deliver a little bit of spice and a little bit of sweet. The unique seasonings and addition of beer make this fritter batter unique. Try these at your next dinner party or gathering.

    Ingredients

    • 4 apples, peeled and cored
    • small amount of flour
    • 3/4 cup flour
    • 1/2 tsp. paprika
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • dash of black pepper
    • 3/4 cup beer
    • oil for deep frying
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1/4 cinnamon

    Instructions

    1. Slice apples into 1/2" wedges or into 1/4" rings. Coat lightly with flour.
       
    2. In a bowl combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Add beer and beat till smooth. Dip apples in batter coating well, and fry in 375 degree F oil until golden (approx. one minute per side).
       
    3. Drain, roll in sugar and cinnamon serve hot.
