Breadfruit with Coconut Milk or Oiled Down
Ingredients
- 2 small ripe breadfruits
- 1 pound corned pork
- salt to taste
- 3 cups milk from 2 grated coconuts or canned
Instructions
Peel and wash breafruits and cut into 4 halves, removing centers. Arrange in large iron pot, pour on coconut milk, and place pork cut into pieces on breadfruit halves. Cover with tight fitting lid. Stir occasiuonally to prevent burning. Cook over low heat until coconut milk becomes oily and pork is cooked.
