Baked Rhubarb
Baked not fried! Bake your rhubarb in the oven with this rhubarb recipe. If you want a sweet treat that will melt in your mouth, then you have to try this rhubarb!
Notes
- Cooked rhubarb is good served with heavy cream, sour cream, or with fresh strawberries if you like.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound rhubarb, peeled and cut in 3 to 4 inch pieces
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar
- dash of salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Arrange the rhubarb in a 1-1/2 -quart casserole with a cover.
- Add the water, sugar to taste, and salt.
- Cover tightly and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender.
- Chill and serve.
