Strawberry Sauce

"Today I’m sharing with you recipe for a simple strawberry sauce, the most perfect way to use up your remaining strawberries. Pour it over your ice cream, eat it with your pancakes, stuff your crepes with it even. Or simply, eat it as is. I’ve already told you about my grandmother. Her place was my kindergarten and she my disciplinarian. She wasn’t the cuddling kind, but in her neighborhood I had the type of freedom most kids today could never imagine (at least up until the war). She was very fond of strawberries. Two things she made really well was the strawberry sauce, called slatko od jagoda, and ice cream."
