Fresh pear Relish
Ingredients
- Bring 1 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon,
- and 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice to a boil. Add 6 to 8 peeled and
- cored fresh pear halves and cook until tender. Fill pear centers
- with fresh cranberry sauce and arrange on a serving platter with
- roast chicken, turkey, duck, or goose. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
