Sweet and Salty Apple Fritters
These Sweet and Salty Apple Fritters use no added sugar, but the sweetness of the apples perfectly complements the salt in the batter. You have to tried these apple fritters!

Ingredients
- apples
- 100 grams flour
- 1 spoon grappa
- 1 egg yolk
- salt
- some cold water
- 1 egg white, beaten until stiff
Instructions
- Take some big apples, not too ripe, peel them and remove the core. Cut them in slices about 1 centimetre thick.
- Prepare a batter with the flour grappa, egg yolk, salt and water. Let the batter stand for a couple hours.
- Add the egg white, which has to be whisked until stiff, dip the slices of apple in this mixture and fry them in abundant oil. Then sprinkle with sugar.
