Marinated Top Round Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon tarragon
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound top round beef steak

Instructions

Mix all ingredients except steak. Trim outside layer of fat from steak. Place steak in a glass bowl. Pour marinade over beef turning to coat well. Cover and keep refrigerated for 24 hours, turning steak from time to time. Cook steak on grill 4 inches from medium hot coals 12 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Baste occasionally. Cut steak across grain into thin slices.
