European Chocolate Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs. butter
  • 4 oz. semisweet chocolate
  • 6 tbs. whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar (powdered sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler over hot water. When melted, add cream and beat well. Sift and add, until the desired sweetness is reached and the icing is smooth, the powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread while warm.
